Pines Assisted living of Prairie du sac visits HTHS

 Back to School
For Some Very Special Friends

Residents of The Pines Assisted Living, Prairie du Sac, recently went on an outing to our historic Harrisburg One-Room Schoolhouse.  Carol Anderson, President and co-founder of our Harrisburg-Troy Historical Society, gave them a tour and a short history of the school.  She also played the piano and took requests from the seniors who sang along to the fun songs!  Two of the Pines residents had once attended the school as children – how nostalgic it was for them!
A definite good time was had by all!
