60 year reunion

60 Year SCTC Reunion
Five friends from Reedsburg, Baraboo and Sauk Prairie recently to a trip down memory by visiting the Harrisburg School Museum located on Hwy B between Sauk City and Plain.

Picture
Pictured above standing are Pat Dunse, Ardell Albers, Betty Seymour and Evie Accola.  Seated is Frances Biesek.  They were celebrating their 60th anniversary of graduation from Sauk County Teachers College at Reedsburg.  Several of them started their teaching career in a one-room school.  The cumulative years of teaching between the girls totaled 144 years in Wisconsin schools, including six years that Evie taught at Sauk Co. Teachers College.

They also had the fun that day of riding “The Bus” provided by the Aging Disabilities Resource Center of Baraboo.  The ADRC had sponsored the trip
